My wife shocked me today
We live close to our respective offices, so we come home for lunch. It so happens that we arrived at the same time. As I’m getting out of the car, my wife gets out of hers, goes into the back seat and, much to my shock and awe, grabs a Kerry/Edwards yard sign, stomps to the middle of the yard and plants it.
So what?
My wife is a registered Republican and, under any circumstance, are we allowed political yard signs. Since it’s more important for her than it is for me, I live without yard signs.She is pissed. Fuming. She’s a pro-life, fiscal conservative and social moderate (like most Minnesota Republicans). She found out that abortions are going up under Bush. That ticked her off something fierce but when she saw that 100,000 Iraqis have died, she got the sign.
You see, my wife is truly pro-life. Everybody’s.
I got a yard sign, I got a yard sign!
I’m impressed.
