President Bush and his “major policy speeches”

I guess if you’re the President of United States of America fighting for your political life, it’s fair to expect that you will leave no stone unturned. For example, this idea of the President giving “major policy speech”. He has already given two. Each time it was a reelection stump speech at best. According to CBS News, the President is going to have yet another “major policy speech” tomorrow.
Why do I care? Cause, every time he announces such a speech, his Media brethren (CNN, FOX and MSNBC) come rushing to cover these speeches live and in its entirety. This is nonsense and not fair.
Which makes you wonder - “Is someone in Bush-Cheney reelection camp getting really nervous about this Presidential election?”
It sure looks like it.
