Rovian Shitstorm (Part 2): MaryGate

I did not know that calling Ms. Mary Cheney (or anyone else for that matter) a lesbian was a “bad” thing. I am not sure what’s bad - Calling someone a lesbian or being a lesbian. From where I sit, neither. Frankly, there is nothing in this story except a desperate attempt to divert attention from the real news of the debate night. As Andrew Sullivan points out quite appropriately, if there is anything that got outed by this controversy, it’s the double-standards that’s followed by Republicans when it comes to embracing homosexuality.
Bottomline: A Rovian Shitstorm. A poor one, I might add.
