..it seems to me like there are so many pathetic and useless distractions in this all-important Election.
- Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and their concoctions about how Senator Kerry’s Medals were not well deserved
- Personal attacks on Senator Kerry. Calling him a flip-flopper, wishy-washy
- President Bush’s National Guard Service
- RatherGate
- CBS, Bill Burkett and Joe Lockhart planned and unleashed the “Killian” memos
and now this..
- Kerry Fund-Raisers Met With S. Korean
I think it’s time to remind ourselves what an-ex President recently said about winning Presidential Elections. Frankly, this Presidential Election has been quite an eye-opener for me and gave me a better understanding of how US politics works. Frankly, I am not terribly impressed..

Of course the news is inundated with that crap. Why? Because the Republican (mostly) and Democratic machines know that it keeps the heat off the real issues. The flip-flopper thing really pisses me off because nobody is a bigger flip-flopper than Bush. There are *lots* of examples of his “flip-flopping”. But you know what? “Flip-flopping” shows that you’re thinking and are intelligent enough to change your position given the proper information. Being bull-headed like Bush has been on so many other issues is not the preferable stance in my opinion.
