“Breaking the Silence”
On 9/11/2001, approx. 3000 innocent Americans were killed. Here’s my humble attempt at highlighting the price we all have paid since that tragic morning, possibly in their name.
Fatalities and Injuries
- 3000-3500 innocent civilians have been killed in Afghanistan during “Operation Enduring Freedom” [Source: Cursor]
- 133 US soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan during “Operation Enduring Freedom” [Source: Operation Enduring Freedom US Fatalities]
- ‘x’ US soldiers have been injured in Afghanistan during “Operation Enduring Freedom” [Source: Could not find any publicly available records]
- ‘x’ Coalition (non-US) soldiers have been injured in Afghanistan during “Operation Enduring Freedom” [Source: Could not find any publicly available records]
- 10,000 to 13,000 innocent civilians have been killed in “Operation Iraqi Freedom” [Source: Iraq Body Count]
- 993 US soldiers have been killed in “Operation Iraqi Freedom” [Source: Iraq Coalition Casualties Count]
- 65 British soldiers have been killed in “Operation Iraqi Freedom” [Source: Iraq Coalition Casualties Count]
- 66 soldiers from Other (not US or UK) Coalition countries have been killed in “Operation Iraqi Freedom” [Source: Iraq Coalition Casualties Count]
- 7000 US soldiers injured or maimed during “Operation Iraqi Freedom” [Source: US Wounded By Month, August takes a heavy toll: 1,100 wounded in Iraq]
- ‘x’ Coalition soldiers have been injured in Iraq during “Operation Iraqi Freedom” [Source: Could not find any publicly available records]
Others
- The infamous Guantanamo Bay prison was set up. Lord only knows how many “innocent” Muslims are currently trapped in that hell hole in the name of War on Terror [Source: Abuse at Gitmo?]
- The Abu Ghraib prison abuse happened. There is no count of how many inmates were tortured during the abuse. [Source: Abu Ghraib blame extends to top Pentagon officials]
- The Patriot Act was passed which might have done more bad than good (if any) [Source: The Price of Freedom]
- United States tax-payers alone have spent almost 131 billion dollars on just the Iraq War alone!! [Source: Cost of War]
And President Bush is supposed to be “strong” on National Defense and Homeland Security. Oh, and did I mention that we better agree, applaud and possibly re-elect our Commander-in-Chief who has allegedly brought “freedom” and “hope” to parts of the world where there was none (see Breaking the Silence to get a different perspective). As my critics would claim, It would almost be unpatriotic to “change” such steady leadership in times of war. Quite the contrary. I think it’s imperative that we change this “stubborn” leadership with a “steady” track record of costly failures!
Why is it ok for us to strongly condemn when innocent lives are taken away by so-called terrorists, but not ok to question and seek justice and reparations when the same is done by the so-called Civilized and Developed world under the banner of “Operation <blah-blah> Freedom”
If this is the best that a “strong” and “steady” President of United States can do, I don’t even want to think what a “weak” one would unleash upon us and the whole world
In my humble opinion, this is the wrong way to fight Al Qaeda terrorists and people running these dangerous war games MUST be stopped.

And We are granting them $780 Million grant to imporve the infrastructure of Pakistan.
Do you think this grant will be rally used to improve infrastructure. Well Somehow i dont think so. This grant will be used for threats and planning terror attack on Soutch Asia.
Bush is planning to give them $3 Billion more so that they can plan terror-attacks.
