Image of the night (before I crash)..:-)

John Kerry appeared on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” tonight (08/24/2004). Here are my observations:
- Let’s not kid ourselves: He ain’t no Bill Clinton! Not that there is anything wrong with it.
- He appeared exhausted
- However, his responses were sharp and smart as always and
- Kerry looked pretty relaxed and comfortable in his own skin during the show
Seems like a conscientious, learned, Vietnam war veteran (”war-hero” to many), “frost-bite” liberal (as his Republican opponents would brand him as) old fella from Masachusettes to me. Frankly, that sounds like a fine cocktail of virtues for the next United States President and Leader of the Free World
