w.bloggar v4.00 Beta 1 has one pretty major BUG!

If you use w.bloggar’s newly released 4.00 version as your blogging client, beware! It has one pretty major bug that can cause result in serious loss of time.
Simply put, upon retrieving blogged entries for editing, the tool defaults the Category to (none) as shown in the screenshot above despite the fact that the entry actually belongs to a primary category. While this might not be that big a deal, when you try selecting Posts | Last 5 Posts… and then picking an entry, the tool seems to mess up the category of all five entries that were retrieved irrespective of whether you edited them or not. I ended up wasting quite some time this afternoon making sure each affected entry was properly tagged with a primary category.
Otherwise, the beta product seems pretty stable to me and I’ve been actively using it for a few days now.
