Want a Gmail account: Here’s an idea..

..set one up yourself
Got an email from a colleague this morning:
Team, I have a couple of invites for the beta Gmail account. If you are interested let me know and I"ll forward you the invite. Regards,
The funny thing is, thanks to my little Postfix project, I had just finished setting up and customizing SquirrelMail last night. Runs only over HTTPS, backended by my very own email platform, no worries of text or no-text Ads and I get to have way, way more than 1 GB space, thanks to ServerMatrix
So, to Gmail or not to Gmail: that’s my conundrum.
I think I will pass
Update:
Well, turns out my friend ran out of the invites before I could get my hands on it. It sure would have been nice to have one. Damn

Thanks for the tip Min..:-)
Must say I have never heard about it or tried it. If time permits, I would be more than happy to take it for a ride.

Great! That was one awesome undertaking. So did you figure out the best solution for the issue our Russian friend raised?

Well, I only had an idea which I shared with him. It’s practical viability is still something that he will have to find out for himself..:-)
