A poetic reminder to myself

Breathe
What adventure am I on?
I know not.
The tide takes me where ever it must,
I’m not in control.
The spray from the water blinds me,
I can not see beyond.
What lies ahead?
I have to trust and wait.
I am a mystery to myself
as life is a mystery to the water.
Will I survive the waves as they crash on the shore?
Or will I master the flow?
Patience is the key
Breathe…Breathe
