Cisco Links Santa with Children’s Hospitals
For kids in the hospital during the holidays, a visit to Santa can be a challenge. Those who are too sick to leave the hospital miss the simple tradition of sitting on Santa’s lap to ask for a cherished toy.
However, this holiday season, more than 140 kids at Boston and San Diego children’s hospitals shared the love and happiness that only St. Nick can deliver – with a little help from Cisco video telephony. In a program called “Santa, Live from the North Pole” children saw and spoke directly with Santa Claus. The connection to the North Pole was as easy as making a phone call.
