malefactor (noun):

2: one who does ill toward another
Iraq was a military dictatorship with a horrible record of
human rights abuse and a well-earned reputation as an international
malefactor that had attacked its neighbors.
inkhorn (adjective):
ostentatiously learned
If I start using inkhorn words like eructation (a violent belching out or emitting) in my blog entries, chances are I will start losing faithful readers to other bloggers who use simpler words to express themselves.
