My new project: GRE (Graduate Record Examination)

It seems like yesterday, but it was almost a decade ago that I took my GRE exam in order to apply for higher education in United States. My scores were average at best, but I am glad it was good enough for Arizona State 
Can’t say that I had any intention of doing it all over again. However, as a first step towards fulfilling my aspirations of pursuing a PhD from a kick-ass school, I need to give GRE again, and hopefully ace it this time around. Anyhow, to make a long story short, I decided to create a new category in my blog today called English Vocabulary. Entries in this category would be my way of internalizing some of the words that I come across during my preparations for the Verbal section, a section that I did not do too well in ten years ago!
Wish me luck and if you have a few pointers for me, please feel free drop in a note. It will be much appreciated

I think the key to vocabulary is reading. Read anything. Have fun reading. Writers do have large vocabularies and are happy to share with the reader.

Sandy: Yes, I am hoping to do just that. Read as much as I possibly can and then as I come across cool words, document it on my blog (along with it’s usage). Sort of like my very own “Word(s) of the day”.
