The title has Abort=Quit, Retry=Debug, Ignore=Continue. Why not just name the buttons Quit, Debug and Continue in the first place? Why is it that these sorts of things are so much more common in Windows? Don’t people care?

Most likely, the code that does that just uses the standard windows dialog box (MessageBox) instead of using its own– i.e., whoever coded that portion was too lazy (Or maybe, the code had to be small and dependency-lightweight to be usable in many places… who knows?). ;)
