Day 2: In Pueblo, Colorado…

It was a better day, which is to say I drove at a reasonable speed and did not get any more traffic tickets. Total distance covered was about 650-odd miles! In the process we passed through the remaining portion of Arizona, all of New Mexico (or atleast the portion that we needed to cross on our way to Colorado) and finally decided to park ourselves at Hampton Inn in a place called Pueblo, Colorado for the night. Seems like a decent sized city to me, but then again, it’s dark, almost midnight and all I want to do is write a few more words and go to sleep.

The highlight of the day was us getting a chance to see Meteor Crater in Arizona. Simply put, it’s a place where some 50,000 years ago, a meteor came crashing. Result: Well, google it or see the picture below. It was quite an awesome site. The other highlight was a chance to visit an Indian (Native American) Art store just a few miles east of the Meteor Crater site. It was a nice store with some really beautiful art collection. The pottery work reminded me of stuff that I have seen in India. I bought a flute at the store.

Anyways, here are some pictures for you guys to enjoy…
